Carol I. (Fuller) Smith

Carol I. Smith, 81, formerly of rural Turbotville, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2024 at The Gardens at Orangeville.

Born November 4, 1942 in Hughesville, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Mabel Fuller.

On December 9, 1972 she married William H. “Bill” Smith and they celebrated 49 years of marriage until his death December 12, 2021.

Carol was a graduate of Hughesville High School and was employed as a sales associate at Wal-Mart.  She collected holiday Barbies and porcelain dolls, and loved times spent with her family.

Surviving are two sons: William J. and Brian Smith; a daughter, Bobbi Jo Smith; 14 grandchildren: Kendra, Cassandra, Lindsay, Leah, Natalie, McKenzie, Kaylin, and Brian Jr. Smith; Rennleigh, and Jackson Herriman; Shahera, Frankie, Larissa, and Tony Manzano; numerous great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Beverly Kilgus, and Shirley Dugan.

Preceding her in death besides her husband was a daughter, Sheila Manzano and siblings: Wayne, Louise, June, Cheryl, Robert, and Betty.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
