Barbara R. (Bowes) Harris

Barbara R. Harris, 80, of Lewisburg, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at her home.

Born March 19, 1945 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Betty (Ardent) Bowes.  On December 24, 1993 she married Donald L. Harris, Sr. and together they celebrated 31 years of marriage.

Barbara was a graduate of Lock Haven High School.  She enjoyed puzzles, reading and crafting.

In addition to her husband, Donald, she is survived by her daughter: Catherine A. Doyle and her husband Eric, of Watsontown; one granddaughter:  Emma Doyle; and one sister: Sherry Hetrick of North Carolina.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, David.

Per her wishes there will be no services.  The family would like to thank WellSpan - Evangelical Hospice for their great care and support.
