Audrey P. Hendrickson, 89, formerly of Turbotville, passed away Friday, February 21, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born December 26,1935 in Turbot Twp., Northumberland County, she was the daughter of the late George B. and Dorothy M. (Murray) Phillips. She was married to John L. Hendrickson for 10 years until his death on April 5, 2001.
She was a 1953 graduate of the former North Mont High School, Turbotville and had been employed at the former Gold Star Nursing Home in Milton and the "Shower's House" in Turbotville.
She was a member and past-president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Muffly-Huff VFW Post, Turbotville and a 50 year member of the former St. James Lutheran Church, Turbotville. She enjoyed crocheting, having made several baby afghans over the years, and baking for her family, especially around the holidays.
Surviving are two daughters: Stephanie Kilgus and her husband Gene of Watsontown and Holly Snook of Arlington, TX; a son, Sheldon L. Snook and his wife Joan of Turbotville; one granddaughter, Asheala Stephens and her husband Greg; two great-grandchildren: Michaela and Case Stephens; and three "grand-dogs": Sullie, Ella, and Hunter.
Preceding her in death besides her parents and husband were two sons: Kyle W. Snook on March 30, 1980 and Keith Snook on November 28, 2017; and her brother, Darrell W. Phillips on June 13, 1989.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 10 to 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Brooks Funeral Home and Cremation Svc, PC, 207 Broadway St., Turbotville, where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mark Snyder officiating. Burial will follow in Turbotville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors.
