Arthur "Art" T. Banks

Arthur T. “Art” Banks, 79, of Washingtonville, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Watsontown Health and Rehabilitation Center, Watsontown.

Born October 9, 1944 in Norfolk, Virginia, he was the son of the late Charles A. and Ruby B. (Oslin) Banks.

Art was a 1963 graduate of Norview High School in Norfolk, Virginia. He worked at PPL, TRW, and briefly owned his own electrical company. He also owned and operated Banks Village Apartments in Washingtonville. Art loved to work and really enjoyed his apartments.

Art is survived by his son, Steve Banks of Outer Banks, NC; two grandchildren, Brady and Shannon Banks; and a brother, Charles Banks of Washingtonville.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services.
