Annabelle E. (Pursel) Temple

Annabelle E. Temple, 97, of Lewisburg passed away peacefully on Monday, December 9, 2024 at WellSpan Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

Born June 24, 1927 in Limestoneville, she was the daughter of the late Carroll E. and Dollie (Hill) Pursel.  She was previously married to the late Clarence W. St. Clair, and was later married to Robert Temple, until his death on July 10, 1987.

She worked at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville for over 30 years.  Annabelle attended Mifflinburg Church of New Life.  Most of all she loved all of her grandchildren.

Annabelle is survived by two sons: Larry W. St. Clair Sr, and his wife Patty, of Riverside, and Stanley D. St. Clair Sr., and his wife Pauline, of Lewisburg; one daughter-in-law: Deb St. Clair, of Watsontown; 18 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great-grandchildren; one great-great-great-granddaughter; and one sister: Lillian Stahl, of Danville.

Besides both of her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by three sons: Robert, Dennis, and John St. Clair; a daughter: Virginia Bowersox; a step-daughter: Linda Temple; grandsons: Anthony and Zachery Bowersox; twin granddaughters; and one sister: Letha Krick.

Family and friends and invited to a viewing from 11 AM to Noon on Wednesday, December 18, at Brooks Funeral Home & Cremation Svc PC, 207 Broadway St, Turbotville, where a funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon, with Pastor Butch Woolsey, officiating.  Burial will follow in Harmony Cemetery, Milton.
