Althea F. Kreider

Althea F. Kreider, 84, of Turbotville, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born December 18, 1941 in Lancaster, she was a daughter of the late Christian B. and Ethel E. (Reitzel) Worth.

Althea retired from Warrior Run School District after 26 years of working in the payroll department. She was a member of the Warrior Run Heritage Society.

She is survived by a daughter, Stephany L. Fletcher, of North Carolina; two grandchildren, Elizabeth D. Fletcher and Harold T.C. Fletcher, both of Pittsburgh; a brother, Robert Worth, of Arizona; and two sisters, Jacklyn D. Wertz, of Willow Street, PA and Louise Reardon, of Lancaster.

In addition to her parents, Althea was preceded in death by a son, Steven J. Kreider and sister, Lorraine E. Trimble.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no services.
