Alice M. (Kepner) Sponhouse
Obituary
Alice M. Sponhouse, 80, formerly of Williamsport, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Watsontown Health and Rehab.
Born in Muncy on December 15, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Doyle and Louise (Rice) Kepner. She was employed at the former Lisa Rae Fashions in Muncy, later at Williamport Wire Rope and then the White Deer Treatment Center.
She liked playing cards and Bingo, walking, swimming and especially enjoyed taking care of her flowers.
Surviving are three daughters and a son: Cristene Reynolds in North Carolina, Lorie Wyatt in Kentucky, Karen R. Walburn and her husband Rick of Watsontown, and Rodney Sponhouse in Kentucky; 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter, a brother, Doyle Kepner, Jr. of Williamsport; a sister, Shirley Barto in Virgina; and a half-sister, Linda Derr.
Preceding her in death besides her parents was a son, Bobby Sponhouse and a son-in-law, David Reynolds.
Family and friends are invited to a graveside service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy, with a visitation at the cemetery from 10:30 to 11AM.
