Alice Maxine (Miller) Moser

Alice Maxine Moser, 95, formerly of Watsontown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Homestead at Crestview in Wichita, Kansas.

Born November 20, 1928 in Montoursville, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Ida (Womelsdorf) Miller.  On August 9, 1952 she married Paul C. Moser, and together they celebrated 49 years of marriage until his passing on February 14, 2002.

Maxine was a 1946 graduate of Montoursville High School, and earlier attended a one room school house in Fairfield Township.  She moved to rural Turbotville in 1952 when she was married to Paul.

She worked at Montgomery Mills for 7 years as a knitting machine operator, and also worked previously for Zenith Corp. for 5 years in Watsontown, and Carey-McFalls.

Surviving are her children:  Steven P. Moser and his wife June, of Turbotville, and Debra G. Shelly and her husband Mark, of Wichita, Kansas; and 15 grandchildren, 39 Great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 10 to 11:00 AM on Friday, December 22, 2023 at Brooks Funeral Home & Cremation Svc, PC, 207 Broadway Street, Turbotville, where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM with Rev. Michael C. Reece, officiating.  Burial will follow in Turbotville Cemetery.
