Alexis W. Moore, Sr., 58, of rural Turbotville, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021.

Born January 19, 1963 in Lawrenceville, Virginia, he was the son of the late Cliffton Moore, Sr. and Mary (Walker) Moore. He and his wife, the former Amy C. Dopp have celebrated nearly 18 years together.

Cooking was his passion, especially bar-b-que's, and he had been employed as a chef.

He enjoyed fishing, watching football and drag racing, and loved his pets.

Surviving besides his wife, Amy Moore, are four children: Alexis Moore, Jr., Justin and Jadan Moore, and Alaina Byers; his mother-in-law, Arlene Dopp; two brothers, Thomas Moore and his wife Vickie, and Doug Moore, two sisters, Yolanda Hearns and her husband Henry and Verdell McMullen, and a large extended family.

Preceding him in death besides his parents was a brother, Cliffton Moore, Jr.

Per his wishes, no services will be held.

Arrangements are entrusted to Brooks Funeral Home and Cremation Svc, PC, 207 Broadway Street, Turbotville.
