Alberta R. (Leech) Bieber

Alberta R. Bieber, 99 of Muncy, went home to be with Jesus on Friday, November 25, 2022 at Muncy Place.

Born July 7, 1923 in Montour Co., she was the daughter of the late Leslie J. and Lula Belle (Kinney) Leech.  She married Steven R. Bieber Sr., on October 3, 1942 and they shared 67 years of marriage until is passing on November 30, 2009.

She worked many years as a seamstress at Weldon's in both Muncy and Williamsport, until her retirement.  Alberta was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.

Alberta had a long life and had a story faith in the the Lord, she was a member of Hope of Glory Church, Muncy.

She leaves behind a daughter: Carol Swartz of Muncy; one son and daughter-in-law: Steven Bieber Jr. and his wife Nancy of South Williamsport; 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her, great-granddaughter, Courtney Jarrett, and one sister, Verna Keeler.

A visitation will be held from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM on Wednesday, November 30, at Brooks Funeral Home & Cremation Svc PC, 207 Broadway Street, Turbotville, where a funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM, with Pastor Todd Baker, First Baptist Church of Elimsport, officiating.  Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations in her memory be made to First Baptist Church of Elimsport, 16838 SR 44, Allenwood, PA 17810.  All donation in turn will be sent to Baptist Children's Home.
