Thomas Poust Obituary

Thomas A. Poust, 81, of New Columbia, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2019 at Milton Health and Rehab.

Born February 6, 1938 in Lewisburg, he was the son of the late Terrance and Bertha (Border) Poust. On December 3,1994 he married the former Linda L. Derr and they have celebrated 24 years of marriage.

He was a 1957 graduate of Milton High School and was a carpenter with the Carpenter’s Union in Milton. More recently he was a driver for Amish families in the Watsontown and Turbotville area.

He was a member of the Elks Lodge, Milton and the Watsontown Chapter #401 F&AM.

He enjoyed visiting Potter County to dig for leaches, fly fishing, and hunting. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends.

Surviving besides his wife Linda is a daughter, Denise E. Zerbe and her husband Paul of Mifflinburg; two grandchildren: Justine Snyder and Erin Zerbe, and a great-grandson, Lincoln Snyder.

Preceding him in death besides his parents was a brother, Robert Poust.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services held.
