Thomas E. “Tom” Baker, 81, of Milton, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019, with his family by his side, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville
Born October 23, 1937 in White Deer, he was the son of the late Samuel L. Sr., and Elsie Hazel (Reeser) Baker.
Tom retired from the Weis Markets, Milton, with over 15 years of service. He was an avid collector of baseball and football cards. Tom looked forward to watching wrestling, football and baseball games. His favorite teams were Penn State, the Philadelphia Eagles and the Phillies.
He cherished all the time he could spend with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, they were his life.
He is survived by his daughters: Doris A. Baker, of Milton, and Monica Leitzel and her husband Jesse, of Milton; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Marjorie Pfleegor, of York, and Marry Ellen Phillips, of California.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his grandparents who raised him, Raymond and Alice Reeser; a daughter: Shirley M. Gresh; two brothers: Samuel Baker Jr., and Darrel Baker; and five sisters: Alice Geiswhite, Elsie Nogle, Theda Leon, Patsy Culp, and Doris Jean Baker.
In keeping with his wishes services and burial will be at the convenience of the family, burial will take place in Lewisburg Cemetery.
