Terry Shane Toole

Terry Shane (Christopher Lawrence Paul) Toole, 64, of Coatesville, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018, with the love of his life his wife, Debra, at his bedside.  Terry has been described as kind, compassionate, funny and always willing to help.  Neighbors, friends and family have collectively shared their grief at the devastating loss of one so special.
 
Born March 20, 1954 in Reading, he was the son of the late Ira Toole and the surviving Leona (Goreski) Toole.  On December 5, 1999 he married the former Debra BreMiller Prokopovits and they would have celebrated 19 years of marriage this year.
 
Terry was a 1971 graduate of Exeter High School, and was a part of the 1970 unbeaten Exeter Football Team.  He primarily worked as a mechanic, and then became the President of Eagle Stairlift LLC.; upon his recent retirement he enjoyed driving school buses.  Terry loved working on clocks and considered himself a horologist, but most of all he cherished all the time he spent with all of his grandchildren.
 
He will be remembered for his spectacular collection of “tools”, the “griffinette”, his unwavering loyalty to the Pittsburgh Steelers, his love for his family including his new pupper, Kelsea, and most importantly his faith in God.
 
Surviving besides his beloved mother, Leona, and his best friend and loving wife Debra, are his children: Krista (Toole) Chafin, Peter O. Toole, Richard Prokopovits, Tim (Amanda) Prokopovits, Mark (Eliza) Prokopovits, and Ashley (Andrew) Gothel; seven grandchildren: Carina, Kira, Arleigh, Katelynn, Paul, Christopher, and William; two sisters: Cindy Toole, and Sandra Rafalik and her husband Ray; one brother-in-law: “Uncle” Bill Trate; nieces: Jaclyn Toole, Stefanie Toole and Rachel Trate; and cousin: Rusty Rufner. 
 
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Randy Toole, Scott Toole, and Robin (Toole) Trate.
 
Services will be on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Calvary Chapel of Chester Springs, 217 Dowlin Forge Rd., Exton, PA 19342, 10:00-11:00 Visitation, Celebration of Life to follow.
