Robert Kline Obituary

Robert G. Kline, 77, of Turbotville, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 28, 2019.

Born February 10, 1942 in Pottsville, he was the son of the late Robert K. and Catherine E. (Webb) Kline. On January 30, 1965 he married the former Barbara A. Steffie and they have celebrated nearly 55 years of marriage.

He was a 1960 graduate of Reading High School and served honorably with the US Navy.

Earlier in life he attended the PA State Police Academy and served as a trooper in the Dunmore area. He later worked in the terminal for Branch Motor Express in Reading and then at Milton until it’s closing. He retired from Magee Carpet Co., Bloomsburg and enjoyed woodworking.

Surviving besides his wife, Barbara Kline at home are three daughters: Tracy Smith in Florida; Erica Reichenbach and her husband Allen of Turbotville; and Catherine Yetter and her husband David of Watsontown; five grandchildren: Ashleigh Peterson of Danville, Torey and husband Elliott Goff of New Berlin, Daylee Reichenbach of Turbotville, and Zackary and Sofi Yetter of Watsontown, and three great-grandchildren.
