Richard L. “Chip” Zarr Jr., 58, of Poplar Ave, Milton, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at his home with his family by his side.
Born May 31, 1960 in Williamsport, he was the son of late Richard L. Sr. and Anna (Temple) Zarr. On May 30, 2000, he married the former Linda S. Margargle and they have celebrated 18 years of marriage.
Chip was a graduate of Warrior Run High School. He served in the US Army and the National Guard. He worked at Bison Beverage, in Lewisburg, Weis’s as a truck driver, and Moran Industries, in Watsontown. Most recently he worked as a self-employed carpenter.
Chip enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and working on automobiles.
Surviving besides his wife are his son: James R. Zarr, of Milton; two daugthers: Stacy L. Bowersox, of Milton, and Christina M. Young, of Montandon; two step-daughters: Tracy Showers, of Mifflinburg, and Regina Moscarello, of Lewisburg; 17 grandchildren; one great-grandson; and one sister: Pamela Jean Wetzel and her husband James, of Lewisburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Richard L. Zarr Jr. in 2002.
There will be a Celebration of Life in May 2019.
