Nicholas J. "Nick" Gowin

Nicholas J. “Nick” Gowin, 27, of Allenwood, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018.

Born November 21, 1991 in Williamsport, he was the son of James Gowin and his companion Angie Bird of Allenwood and Judy (Waltman) Gowin and her companion Jeffrey Bower of Montgomery.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his children.  Nick was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.

Surviving are his fiancée, Courtney Winder and her son Braydenn Bixler; three sons: Kaleb J., Konner L., and Keegan N. Gowin, all of Montgomery; a daughter Serenity L. Gowin of Hughesville; a sister, Jessi R. Gowin and her companion Derrick Webb of Montgomery, two nieces, Brooklynn and Leah Webb; his paternal grandmother, Cheryl Ulrich and paternal grandfather Richard Ulrich, both of Montgomery; and maternal grandparents, Lola and Lee Waltman of Muncy; and a grandmother: Donna Carl, of New Columbia.

He was preceded in death by a son who died in infancy, Khaden L. Heddings.

Family and friends are invited to call from 6 to 8 PM on Wednesday, December 5th, at Brooks Funeral Home & Cremation Svc, PC, 124 Main St., Watsontown where a funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM with Pastor Ken Paulhamus of Christ Wesleyan Church, Milton, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory will be accepted to establish a college fund for his children and can be sent to the funeral home.
