Maxwell Newton Obituary
Maxwell D. “Max” Newton, 86, of Watsontown, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2018 at home.
Born January 11, 1932 in Watsontown, he was the son of the later Frederick G. and Gladys June (McKee) Newton.
Max worked for 10 years at Philco Ford Zenith until 1960, he then worked with his brother at Robert Newton Construction, until his retirement in 1990.
He attended Delaware Run Wesleyan Church, Watsontown.
Max is survived by his one brother, Ray Newton, of Saugerties, NY, and one sister, Roxie Boob, of Watsontown.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Robert and Fred Newton, and one sister, Ida Shiley.
Services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
