Marlin R. Johnson

Marlin R. Johnson, 84, of Milton, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Geisinger Hospice at Maria Hall, Danville.

Born November 30, 1934 in Milton, he was the son of the late Charles and Ruth (Weikel) Johnson.  He married the former Nancy J. Flory and they celebrated 55 years of marriage unitl her passing on May 27, 2009. 

Marlin is a US Navy Veteran.  He worked for over 25 years at Continental Can, before retiring.

He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and hunting.

Surviving are his two sons: Keith Johnson and his wife Ann, of Michigan, and Craig Johnson, of Milton; two daughters:  Jody Keefer, and her husband Will, of Milton, and Wendy Michael and her husband Moe, of Selinsgrove; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Besides his wife and parents, Marlin was preceded in death by his son, Gary Johnson and brother, Lavere Johnson.

There will be a celebration of Marlin’s Life held at 2:00pm on Friday, December 14that St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 255 S. Derr Drive, Lewisburg, with Rev. Sarah L. Weedon, officiating.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
