Mamie Smith Obituary
Mamie L. Smith, 72, of Hughesville and Montgomery, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at the Skilled Nursing Unit of UPMC Susquehanna, Muncy.
Born November 14, 1946 in Wapwallopen, she was the daughter of the late Charles J. and Mary R. (Wallis) Smith.
Mamie worked at the Iron Skillet Restaurant at the Milton Truck Stop.
She is survived by step-brothers and a step-sister, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her three brothers: Donald, Thomas and Wallis James Smith, step-father: Walter M. Dyer; and two step-brothers.
There will be a graveside service at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, January 22, at Roselawn Cemetery, Berwick, with Rev. GayAnn Gearhart, officiating.
