Lois Reimensnyder Obituary

Lois A. Reimensnyder, 93, of Milton, PA, died on May 9, 2019.  She was born October 17, 1925.  She was the daughter of Clarence W. and Marguerite E. (Menges) Cotner, but was raised by her grandparents, Issac and Jennie Menges from the age of six months.  She married Fillmore H. Reimensnyder on April 13, 1946, in the Reformed Church of Milton, by Rev. Nevin Danner.  They observed 54 years of marriage until his death on September 13, 2000.

Mrs. Reimensnyder graduated from Milton High School in 1943.  She worked as a bookkeeper at Milton Manufacturing Co. in the purchasing department until liquidation, the Chef-Boy-Ar-Dee and later 10 years at Milton Shoe Factory, as well as assisted her husband in farming.

She is survived by one son, James A. Reimensnyder and his wife, Carolyn, of Milton and a daughter-in-law, Mary Reimensnyder of Watsontown, four grandchildren, Debra Wright of Lewisburg, David Reimensnyder and his wife Amber of Spanish Fort, AL, Robert Reimensnyder of Louisville, KY, and Susan Bastian and her husband Chadrick, of Milton, as well as six great grandchildren.  She is also survived by two step grandchildren Kimberly Aikey of Athol, MA, and Kelly Gardner and her husband Richard, of Watsontown, as well as six step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son John F. Reimensnyder, on April 6, 2012, and one half-sister, Alice Mae Buss.

At her request, there will be a private graveside service and burial in Turbotville Cemetery.  The family will provide flowers and suggest memorial contributions in her memory be made to a charity of your choice.
