Larry R. “Ray” Murray, 84, of Watsontown, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Watsontown Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Born March 31, 1935 in Wilson, North Carolina, he was the son of the late George and Lanie (Langston) Murray.

Ray served honorably in the United States Army for 3 years. During his working years, he worked for several of the Union Trucking Companies, locally.

He enjoyed old cars, Nascar, and listening to Elvis. Also, Ray enjoyed watching Penn State football and the Little League World Series.

Ray is survived by his companion, of 37 years, Audrey Houser; his two sons: Larry (Lucia) Murray of Dunmore, PA and Jon (Cathleen) Murray of Harrisburg; his two daughters: Kim (Tim) Walsh of Woodville, Ohio and Nicole Reichenbach of Lewisburg; two sisters: Janice Gordner of Wilson, North Carolina and Mildred Murray of Houlton, Maine; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death, besides his parents are his two brothers, Henry and Earl Murray, and his sister Reba Whitney.

Services and burial will be private.
