James E. Foust, 77, of Watsontown, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Evangelical Community Hospital.
Born June 4, 1941 in Lewisburg, he was the son of the late Levi S., Sr. and Dorothy E. (Lyons) Foust. On April 28, 1962, he married the former Donna I. Coup and they have celebrated 56 years of marriage.
James was a 1959 graduate of Milton High School. He worked at ACF Industries in Milton, until his retirement in 2003. After retirement, he worked for Susquehanna Fire Co., Dewart. James was a life member of the Goodwill Hose Company, Milton, member of Gold Wings Rider’s Association and of the Watsontown American Legion Post 323.
He enjoyed motorcycle riding and fishing in Canada. Most of all he cherished the time he spent with his family.
Surviving besides his wife are one son: Todd A. Foust, of Danville; one daughter: Brenda K. Templin and her husband Scott, of Abbotstown; four grandchildren: Katrina (Tim) Wachenfeld, Aaron M. (April) Templin, Zachary E. Templin and his fiancé Cypress Staelin, and Trevor A. (Kelly) Foust; four great-grandchildren: Bennett Foust, Bryson Foust, Carson Wachenfeld, and Zane Wachenfeld; and one sister: Jane M. Marnul and her husband Robert, of Terre Haute, Indiana.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, William L. Foust.
Family and friends are invited to call from 10-11 AM on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Brooks Funeral Home & Cremation Svc PC, 207 Broadway St, Turbotville, where a memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM with Pastor Shawn McNett officiating. Burial will be held during the spring time at Harmony Cemetery in Milton.
