Frank David "Dave" Tice, DDS, 85, of Gearhart Road, Muncy, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2019 at his home.
Born August 13, 1933 in Hilltown, Bucks County, he was the son of the late Frank and May (Baum) Tice. On May 23, 1959, he married the former Dorothy A. Bowers and they have celebrated 59 years of marriage.
He served with the US Army and graduated from Temple Dental School in 1963.
Dr. Tice was a self-employed dentist in Turbotville and Watsontown for many years.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing golf and watching local high school sports.
Surviving besides his wife are a son, Dale A. Tice of Danville and a daughter, Dawn E. Madden of Chalfont; four grandchildren: Emily and Rachel Madden and Dean and Sierra Tice; one great-grandson, Nicholas Mengert; and a brother, Edward Tice and his wife Phyllis of Sellersville.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Albert Tice.
Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 AM Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Brooks Funeral Home & Cremation Svc, PC, 207 Broadway Street, Turbotville where a memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Floyd Sollenberger, a retired United Methodist pastor, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in his memory be made to Mennonite Disaster Services, 538 Airport Road, Lititz, PA 17543.
