Dorothy E. Fisher, 82, formerly of Watsontown, passed away on Thursday June 6, 2019 at The Gatehouse Hospice, Williamsport.
Born in Dewart on August 4, 1936 she was the daughter of the late Chester “Chet” and Mary E. (Quiggle) Greiner.
Dorothy was a graduate of Watsontown High School. She was a member of Williamsport Assembly of God Church, Montoursville Garden Club, and the Riverwalk Senior Center.
She loved working in the garden and reading scripture from her Bible.
Surviving are her four sons: Joel Mabus, of Conroe, TX, Albert Mabus, of Turbotville, James Mabus, of Irvine, CA, and David Fisher, of Orlando, FL; two daughters, Julie Stevens, of Barensville, and Della Hutchinson, of Milton; also, two daughters out of state; 15 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and one brother, John Greiner and his wife Charlotte, of Dewart.
Preceding her in death besides her parents were her brother: Paul Greiner; and three sisters: Mary Louise, Edith, and Ruth.
There will be a graveside service held on Saturday June 8th at 9:00 am in Delaware Run Cemetery, Musser Lane, Watsontown, with Rev. Darrin L. Mitchley, her pastor, officiating.
