Harry Carr, 81 of Milton passed away on March 4, 2024 at Muncy Place.

Born on October 31, 1942 in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania, Harry was the son of the late Elmer and Erma Ergott Carr of Antes Fort.

Harry graduated from Jersey Shore High School and VoTech and began working at a cement company driving truck where he was also a foreman. He moved on in his career life to PennDOT where he worked until he retired. Before making the move to PennDOT, Harry was drafted into the army and was sent to Vietnam as part of The Big Red One. Upon retiring from PennDOT, he and his wife moved to The Villages, Florida.

Harry was very active in many clubs there, but his favorite was The Paisans Club. He loved driving the golf cart all over and being with his many friends there. He was diagnosed with cancer while living in The Villages.  After seven years there, it became necessary to move back to Pennsylvania to be near family before he was unable to make that move. Harry was an active member of The First Baptist Church of The Villages and was also a member of The American Legion, The VFW, and also the Fraternal Order of The Masons.
