Ellen Deeter Obituary
Ellen L. Deeter, 70, of rural Watsontown, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Watsontown Health and Rehab.
Born August 2, 1953 in Corning, NY, she was a daughter of Beverly (Manwaring) VanBuskirk. On August 8, 1969 she married Wayne E. Deeter, who survives.
She was employed at Sensenig Milling, Turbotville until retirement.
Surviving besides her husband are two sons: Wayne E. Deeter, Jr. and Kenneth R. Deeter, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and three brothers: Larry (Terri) VanBuskirk, Arthur VanBuskirk, and Robert (Rose) VanBuskirk.
Preceding her in death besides her mother was a son, Richard Deeter, a brother Kenneth VanBuskirk and two sisters: Margaret Croft and Valeta Brown.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation from noon to 1:00 PM on Monday at Brooks Funeral Home and Cremation Svc, PC, 207 Broadway Street, Turbotville where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM with the Rev. James Pentz officiating. Burial will follow in Muncy Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
