Sean S. Tetreault

Funeral Director, Supervisor/Owner, Certified Crematory Operator

Sean is a 2006 graduate of Hughesville High School and received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Chemistry in 2010 from Lebanon Valley College.  In 2015 he graduated from McAllister Institute of Mortuary Science and completed an internship at his parents' funeral home.  He has been a licensed funeral director since 2016, a Certified Crematory Operator, and holds a life insurance license to further assist families.  In 2020 he purchased the funeral homes from his mother, Julie, and is excited to be a third generation owner of the funeral homes.

Sean played football throughout his high school and college years and played professionally for two years with the arena football league.  

Currently he is the head football coach of the Muncy Indians and resides in Turbotville with his wife Rae-Ellah Biddle, and their dog Forest.

Julie Brooks-Tetreault

Funeral Director/Supervisor

Julie is a graduate of Warrior Run High School, attended Williamsport Area Community and Lycoming Colleges and graduated from Simmons School of Mortuary Science. She has been a licensed funeral director since 1984.  She married Steven Tetreault, a classmate from mortuary school, in 1983. 

Together they have raised two children, Stephanie Doebler, who graduated from Wilkes University with a Master's Degree in Education and Sean who graduated from Lebanon Valley College with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, and from McAllister Institute of Mortuary Science, NYC. 

Julie is also a licensed insurance agent and can assist families with filing their life insurance claims.

Steven D. Tetreault

Funeral Director, Certified Crematory Operator

Steven is a native of Champlain, NY. He graduated from Northeastern Central Clinton High School, Herkimer County Community College and Simmons School of Mortuary Science. He has been a licensed funeral director since 1984. He and Julie were classmates at Mortuary School and were married in December 1983. 

Steve completed his internship with the MB Clark Funeral Homes in Champlain, Rouses Point, and Lake Placid, NY before relocating to Pennsylvania.  He has owned and operated Hughesville Monument Company for over twenty-five years, specializing in unique, personalized granite memorials. He offers a full line of Barre granite products, including cremation niches and granite benches, and also a full selection of bronze plaques. 

He recently built a crematory to assure families that their loved one will never leave our personal care if they choose cremation.  He and Sean are both Certified Crematory Operators and handle all cremations for our funeral homes.

Michael Yohn

Funeral Director

Mike is a 1996 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania & Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Mortuary Science and Funeral Director Diploma. Mike conducted his internship at the Alleva Funeral Home in Paoli, PA and continued to work as a licensed funeral director at that establishment until 2003. 

In 2004, Mike attended Bloomsburg University to pursue a science teaching degree. He graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education and currently teaches science at a nearby school district. 

Mike joined the staff at Brooks Funeral Home in 2009 and assists as a licensed funeral director on a part-time basis. 

He and his wife Marianne live in Turbotville with their two children. 

Mike is the organist at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Turbotville. He also plays at the Watsontown Alliance Church and various events throughout the community.

Robert Aderhold

Funeral Home Assistant

Bob is a graduate of Warrior Run High School and served honorably in the US Marine Corp.  He retired from the US Federal Penitentiary, Lewisburg. 

He resides in Turbotville with his wife, Donna.

Mike Weber

Funeral Home Assistant

Mike was a graduate of Marian Catholic High School and is currently a Teacher and Dean of Students at Muncy High School.

He has coached football at Lycoming College for over 25 years and is currently coaching at Muncy High School.

He resides in Watsontown.

Robert Sheatler

Part-time staff

Bob is a native of the Turbotville area.  He graduated from the former Turbotville High School and served honorably in the US Army in Germany. He retired from TRW, Danville.   

Unfortunately, Bob has passed away on July 20, 2022.  He was a very dedicated employee for over 20 years and will be greatly missed.

His wife Pat, resides in Milton.

Stephanie (Tetreault) Doebler

Secretary

Stephanie is the daughter of Steven and Julie and graduated from Hughesville High School.  She received her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Master's Degree in Education from Wilkes University.  She is married and the mother of three daughters.  She helps with the office work at the funeral home on a part-time basis. 

She and her family reside in Hughesville.
